Because I’m a huge nerd, here’s my first attempt at pouring a bottle of Milk Stout Nitro. They somehow achieve Nitro-like creaminess without a widget. But you have to pour hard to get the job done. So, here goes. OH AND IT’S SIDEWAYS BECAUSE I’M AN IDIOT.

If you ever get the chance, hit up Beer Authority (beerauthoritynyc.com). Right across the street from Port Authority. Same owners as Rattle N Hum. My roommate works there.
You can bet I’ll be stopping by.

I had it down @ dogfish this weekend and wasn’t too jazzed about it, did you crack one open?
I’ve not yet cracked it open. In fact, I didn’t even purchase the bottle you saw in the photo. It was $15.99. Not unreasonable, but $10 was my budget and I had my heart set on a plate of lime grilled chicken, sauteed...

abiglion asked: Hey I've been reading your tumblr for a while and wanted to kind of throw something out there; may be a little weird. I wanted to see if you'd maybe be into me rubbing apple butter on your ball sack, pouring beer into your belly button, then having the beer rendezvous with the ball sack apple butter before taking a journey together into my mouth? So, lemme know.

So I open a Samuel Adam’s Cream Stout, pour it in my glass, and see these whitish things in my beer. Why does this happen? It’s about a month away from expiration. Is it safe to drink?
That’s all explained in the first few paragraphs of this post I did a while ago. And to answer your question succinctly, yes, it’s safe...

Bored and Tumbling.
So ask me a question or two, eh?

ethan tried this from that same liquor store last year and it was putrid — i do something was wrong with it.
I was looking for the year on the bottle, which I was unable to find. There’s no telling how long those bottles have been sitting there, and each could be from a different year, as the beer...

I’m about to tie a song I wrote into beer. You know how brewers often say “Oh, well, we brew the beer we want to drink. We identify a beer that doesn’t exist in the marketplace, and then we brew that beer, because we want to drink it.”
Well, that’s what I did with this song. I wrote a song that I wanted to hear. I identified that this song didn’t exist, and it...

You don’t like Fireside Nut Brown? Sadface.
I don’t like Fireside Nut Brown because I don’t like the taste of burning, sugary wet dirt.
